DropKit is a new application dedicated to the development of educational materials, created with the cooperation of experts involved in special needs education. It is designed to make it easy to create "personalized and optimized teaching materials" that match the interests and learning progress of each child, regardless of disability.
A wide variety of templates and materials have been prepared in advance so that even supporters who are not very familiar with iPad operation can easily create teaching materials in a short period of time. The software also includes many sample teaching materials created by teachers who are known for their excellent educational practices in the field. By using these as examples and replacing images, sounds, and other components, users can create teaching materials that can be used immediately in the classroom. The created files can be immediately shared with children, parents, and other supporters.
The features of DropKit and the method of creating teaching materials are as follows.
Create "Teaching Material Pages" by simply selecting from templates.
To start creating DropKit educational materials, simply select the type of assignment you want to create from the templates. You can choose from a variety of templates, such as "Matching," "Which one is it? What is this? Matching," "Which is it?", "Which is it?", "Whats this?", and "Flash Cards".
More than 2,000 types of "card" materials
In DropKit, the illustrations and symbols used to create teaching materials are called "cards. You can easily complete your teaching materials by simply arranging the cards on the page.
Cards are equipped with "Drops," a library of over 2,000 illustrations designed by the Droplet Project over many years, and their corresponding easy-to-understand Japanese audio. In addition to the Droplets, a variety of picture symbols and sound effects are also provided on the cards.
Easy to set the appearance and behavior of pages
In addition to cards, graphics, pictures, text, and sounds can be freely pasted onto the pages of teaching materials. You can also freely set the background color of the page and the presence or absence of images for correct or incorrect answers. These can be changed at any time, even after creation is complete.
Sharing files with various people
Since it would be a waste to use the materials you have created by yourself, DropKit files can be shared with others via AirDrop, e-mail, messenger, etc. You can easily share your teachers materials by sending them via email to use at home as homework, or by having other teachers share their materials with you so that you can adapt them to your own class.
